My name is Erica Abramov LCSW C-DBT.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NY & NJ)  who completed my graduate studies at the NYU Silver School of Social Work.   I am certified in DBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy.   At Extending Roots, I use evidence based, CBT, DBT, REBT, Solution-Focused, mindfulness techniques to assist and teach clients to handle life's challenges long after their treatment has run its course.  I am dedicated to providing personalized care to each of our clients, and am committed to ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques.

My name is Natalia Feldgun.  I am a graduate of Stanford University for my undergraduate studies, as well as John Jay CUNY for Criminal Justice.  My philosophy/approach to mental health and therapy is informed by more than just my degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. My work and life experiences as a refugee, an ex-athlete, coach, consultant, and as an attorney, taught me acceptance, compassion and life’s abundance.             My name is Carmelo Hernandez. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York and completed my graduate studies at the NYU Silver School of Social Work. I hold a Master of Social Work, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, bringing both clinical expertise and executive leadership training to my work. I am fluent in Spanish and provide therapy in both English and Spanish, allowing me to effectively serve a broader and more diverse client population. In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as the Commissioner of Mental Hygiene and Social Services in Chautauqua County, where I oversee 18 programs and more than 450 employees across a complex human services system.
